St Helens captain Jodie Cunningham, who was named player of the match, speaking to BBC Sport: "It's amazing [to be going back to Wembley]. It couldn't have worked out any better today. I had a really great feeling this morning, the girls prepared so well this week, and I couldn't be any prouder with that performance.
"That first half was really tough, they're such a good defensive side and we knew it would take our best to break their defence. We were patient, I'm just really proud of a disciplined and professional performance.
"You can't not [think about playing at Wembley], it's so big. Last year was even better than we could have imagined so when you've tasted it once, you want to get back there again. This was so important. There were girls in the group who didn't taste Wembley and we wanted to do it for them."

Danika Priim
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC TVWow, oh wow. What a performance from both teams.
I'll sound cliché, but I'll say that the score doesn't reflect the game.
In the first half York really fought to keep Saints to just a few points and it was only really in the last 10 minutes that Saints ran away with it.

Hugs all round the St Helens team as they celebrate a semi-final success that was a convincing one in the end, although York battled hard throughout and visibly tired at the end following a difficult build-up which saw illness sweep through their camp.

St Helens are into another Challenge Cup final!
Saints will play either Leeds or Wigan at Wembley on 8 June as they go in search of a fourth successive Challenge Cup success.
For York, they will have to wait another year to make their first appearance in a Challenge Cup final at the national stadium.

Danika Priim
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC TVWe said that in the last 10 to 20 minutes that we would really see the difference between the two squads, physically. And look at York's bodies. They are zapped.
And that is not to take away from how hard they have fought today.

Georgia Sutherland
A sixth try for Saints!
York send the kick-off out on the full, giving possession back to St Helens.
It seems like there are about five or six black shirts blocking Georgia Sutherland's path to the try line, but she barges her way past them to score.

Danika Priim
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC TVFrom that first-half performance Saints have really come back and answered in this second half.
Phoebe Hook has been there on the back of everything defensively and in attack.

Phoebe Hook
A second try of the game for Phoebe Hook!
Saints spread the ball to the right wing and Hook sprints away from the covering York defenders to dot down in the corner.
Faye Gaskin hits the post with the kick at goal, but I'm sure she won't mind too much about that.

Leah Burke fancies another run at a tiring York defence and is eventually brought down on halfway.
Saints' Zoe Harris sends a high kick over the top and York full-back Georgie Hetherington has to nudge it behind, which will give St Helens another set of six from fairly close range.

And, as York cough up possession again just inside Saints' half, some of the St Helens players allow themselves a little fist pump of celebration.
They know they're on the brink of another appearance in a Wembley final.

St Helens half-back Faye Gaskin, who is back on her feet after receiving some on-field treatment, tries a kick on the last tackle but it is too strong and out of play.
Of course they'd love some more points, but at the very least it's run another minute or two off the clock.

Danika Priim
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC TVYou are starting to think now, that's it for St Helens.
Phoebe Hook has been great this game, she has been fantastic in defence and look at that, she just managed to dance her way through.
She is a phenomenal young player that is coming through.

Phoebe Hook, Faye Gaskin goal
That's an outstanding try from Phoebe Hook and a score that her performance today deserves.
Captain Jodie Cunningham is again involved in the build-up, handing off to Erin Stott and eventually the ball is worked wide to Hook, who cuts in off the right wing and speeds away to the try line.

St Helens coach Matty Smith has very fond memories of Wembley.
He was in charge last summer when Saints became the first women's team to win the Challenge Cup at the national stadium.
And that success came 10 years after, as a player, he won the Lance Todd Trophy as man of the match in Wigan's Challenge Cup victory against Hull FC.
His team are less than 20 minutes away from a return to London.

St Helens 18-2 York
Danika Priim
Former Leeds and England forward on BBC TVThat was a try that came from nothing much. Emily Rudge was just as surprised to get some space as everyone else was.
They tried to keep the ball moving and there was no-one there, she bounced off one defender and twisted and twirled herself over.

Emily Rudge, Faye Gaskin goal
Is that going to be the try that secures a semi-final victory for St Helens and sends them back to Wembley?
Saints build some pressure and Jodie Cunningham passes to Emily Rudge, who spins away from a couple of York tacklers to touch down in the left corner.
