A Creamy Yogurt Salad Dressing without The Mayo!
I love a creamy salad dressing, but mayonnaise can be a polarizing ingredient for some people. This yogurt salad dressing is a delicious creamy dressing but uses Greek yogurt in place of mayonnaise, often found in dressing recipes.
It is a perfect balance of sweetness and tang using ingredients like yogurt, honey, and apple cider vinegar. The flavor pairs well with a vegetable loaded green salad!
- Measuring spoons and cups for measuring ingredients
- Whisk for mixing
- Medium sized bowl
- Glass jar for storage
What Else Could You Do with This Dressing?
While creamy yogurt salad dressings are great for green salads, they can also be used in other ways! I love this dressing as a dip for roasted vegetables.
You can also eat it with raw carrots or broccoli, or anything you like to dip in something like a ranch dressing.
Ingredients
- Greek yogurt or a non-dairy yogurt
- Olive oil
- Apple cider vinegar
- Honey
- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Dried dill
How to make Greek Yogurt Salad Dressing
Step 1: Portion Out the ingredients
Measure out half a cup of Greek yogurt (or your non-dairy yogurt), one-quarter cup of olive oil, one-quarter cup of apple cider vinegar, two teaspoons of honey, half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, and one-quarter teaspoon of dried dill.
Step 2: Whisk Together Ingredients
Vigorously whisk together all of the ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Step 3: Pour into storage container
Pour your dressing into a glass storage container. Tightly secure the lid and shake once more to be sure the ingredients are fully incorporated.
