I'm having a hard time with people enjoying the #xfinity #etcommercial. It took one of the absolute final sweet, sacred memories of the 80s and dropped a steaming sh*t on it to make money. IT IS STILL COMCAST. It was not on homage; they wanted cord cutters to hate Xfinity less.

@Xfinity I have no internet. I know exactly what the issue is, my personal router has gone bad and all I wanted was to now rent a Comcast router and have someone come out and install it to make sure it's done correctly.

@cylussec Unfortunately there’s a misconception out there that the city’s franchise agreement with Comcast is exclusive. The reality is that it’s non-exclusive. Verizon has their own private conduit network in the city anyway so they should already be in a good position to deploy fios.
